Joanna Rowe, President of Peters' Drive-In

Joanne Rowe wears many different hats as the President, Director and Corporate Secretary of Peters' Drive-In Ltd. She coordinates daily operations of the business, manages all staff, handles the company budget, communicates with the media and deals with all corporate legal matters.

Previous to Peters’ Drive-In Ltd., Joanne worked as an associate for Bennett Jones LLP, an internationally recognized Canadian law firm. As an associate in the Corporate/Commercial Department, she completed numerous public and private financings, acquisitions and divestitures. In addition, she prepared continuous disclosure materials for public companies and prepared minutes, resolutions, annual returns and various other documents for corporations.

Anne Crossley, Vice President of Crossley Custom Homes
Since 1981, Anne and her husband have owned and operated Crossley Custom Renovations. With a background in Administration, Real Estate Sales, Mortgage Lending and Appraisal, Anne has been well equipped to tackle the challenges of managing a growing company. In 1990, the company was offered a show home position in Coventry Hills and Crossley Custom Homes was formed. Anne and her husband, Jim, have now spent over 30 years working together as entrepreneurs. Their daughter Catherine joined the company in 2002 and their second daughter, April, joined the company in 2010.


Judy Eng-Hum, Director, Operations for Alberta Economic Development Authority
Judy Eng-Hum has a diverse background having worked in variety of sectors including; educational, private and public. Since 2008, Judy has been with Alberta Economic Development Authority in her current role as Director, Operations. In addition to having worked with government and companies such as Kodak Canada, Petro-Canada, and Prentice Hall, Judy has worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs providing coaching and direction on developing business plans and providing marketing advice.


 
Judy Harcourt, Chairman of Harcourt Recruiting Specialists 
Judy Harcourt is Chairman of Harcourt Recruiting Specialists, a recruiting firm she founded with her husband, Peter, in 1976. Harcourt Recruiting Specialists is one of Western Canada’s leading search firms which offers search services for Professional and Executive positions in several industry areas. She received the 2006 Small Business Owner of the Year Award from the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce.



Julianna Cantwell, President of JUNA Consulting
Julianna Cantwell has been a training & development specialist for over 15 years and a communications specialist for more than 10 years. A graduate from the University of Alberta, NAIT, and Grant MacEwan University, Julianna is the President of JUNA Consulting Inc., a strategic human resources and communications consulting practice which helps organizations improve individual and group performance.
 
 
 
 
Karen MacKenzie, Co-Founder, President and CEO of MacKintosh Canada
Karen MacKenzie is the Co-Founder, President and CEO of MacKintosh Canada, a global consulting company and ATHAPASKA, an Aboriginal training and development company. Karen brings her traditional knowledge of indigenous ways into the contemporary workplace as this wisdom and way of being reflects the “best practices of high performance organizations”. As an international professional speaker, Karen inspires audiences to find their inner passion and to move forward in the direction of their dreams. 



Maureen Liviniuk, Founder of Liviniuk Group Professional Corporation
Maureen Liviniuk is a professional accountant with over 30 years experience. Prior to starting her own business, Maureen worked for public entities, including five years in the credit union system and ten years with a major public utility. In 1994 Maureen started a public accounting practice, operating as Maureen E Liviniuk, CMA. In 2006 the business was incorporated and now operates as Liviniuk Group Professional Corporation.
 


 
Sherri Wawrow, Controller of Design Staffing Inc.
Sherri Wawrow is a Certified Managerial Accountant with over 17 years of experience working with owner managed businesses. After attaining her CMA with a big four firm, she moved to Bermuda to pursue her profession with international clients.  Sherri returned to Canada in 2004 and continued to manage a wide range portfolio in public practice. In 2011, Sherri moved to industry, and currently works as Corporate Controller for Design Group Staffing Inc., the largest privately owned employment agency in Canada.
