Allison Eastop Cooley
Community Engagement Coordinator
Allison believes that good things happen when people feel connected... to the right people, the right resources, and a community that genuinely wants to see them succeed.
As AWE’s Community Engagement Coordinator, Allison is often one of the first people women entrepreneurs connect with when they reach out to AWE. She loves being that welcoming first point of contact: listening to where someone is at, helping them find their way, and connecting them with the people, programs, and opportunities that can help them take their next step. She believes no one builds a business alone, and that having a community around you for encouragement, learning, perspective, and support can make all the difference.
With a background in communications, community engagement, and relationship-building, Allison brings more than 15 years of experience helping people and organizations communicate with clarity and purpose. She is also the founder of Arbor & Ink Communications, an independent communications and content studio focused on thoughtful storytelling, meaningful connection, and finding the right words.
Community has always been important to Allison, both professionally and personally. She loves being involved in the Parkland region and believes some of the best opportunities for learning and growth come from simply showing up, getting involved, and building genuine relationships along the way.
Outside of work, Allison is happiest outdoors. She loves gardening, walking among the trees, spending time at the family cabin noticing the small things in nature that make a place feel like home.
Allison lives in the Spruce Grove area with her husband and their son. Family is at the heart of her life, and she is grateful to build a life that leaves room for meaningful work, community, connection, and plenty of time outside.
