Michelle leads AWE with equal parts strategy, heart, and “let’s make this happen.”
With more than 20 years of leadership across business development, higher education, sport management, and the non-profit world, she brings a deep understanding of what it really takes to help entrepreneurs thrive.
Before joining AWE, Michelle spent nearly two decades in Fort McMurray championing Indigenous business growth as Executive Director of NAABA and shaping community impact through roles at Keyano College and major multi-sport events.
A lifelong learner with graduate degrees in Business Administration (MBA), and Sport Administration (MHK) and a passion for building strong ecosystems, Michelle believes in creating spaces where women feel supported, uplifted, capable, and confident taking their next big step.
Originally from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and now based in St. Albert, she’s committed to shaping an Alberta where women-built businesses are a driving force in our economy.
