Tanvi Baddula
Entrepreneurship Development Manager, Capital
Tanvi has spent her career helping ambitious founders get to the capital and resources they need. She has done it from every angle: running accelerator programs, investing in startups, and managing portfolios across Canada, South Korea, and India.
That range gives her a rare view of the full founder journey. She knows what it takes to build a business, and she knows what lenders and investors look for. Today, as AWE's Entrepreneurship Development Manager, Capital, she brings both perspectives to the Loans Program. Her aim is for women entrepreneurs to feel confident, supported, and ready to grow.
Born and raised in Hyderabad, India, Tanvi chose to build her life and career in Calgary. She has been drawn to supporting women entrepreneurs ever since, and she is energized by the chance to back the people building Alberta's next wave of businesses.
Tanvi holds an MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. If she's not networking or evaluating companies, you'll find her exploring new restaurants, reading, or googling her next vacation spot.
