Join AWE in hosting this online series with our extended team AI expert, Jason Tate, for a hands-on, practical learning experience designed for entrepreneurs who want to confidently integrate AI into their businesses. This 5 part AI series helps growth-minded women entrepreneurs use AI to save time, reduce costs, and grow revenue in practical, low-risk ways. Each session combines pre-work, structured teaching, hands-on exercises using their own business, and post-work designed to ship something real, not just "learn about AI."

Part 1 - Introduction to AI
Date: January 27, 2026 | Time: 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

By the end of this session, participants will:
- Explain core AI terms (automation, generative AI, agents) in plain language.
- Identify 3-5 practical AI opportunities in their business and prioritize one to start with.
- Understand basic risks, ethics, and data-safety practices.

Part 2 - Chat Foundations: Prompting for Real Work
Date: February 10, 2026 | Time: 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

By the end of this session, participants will:
-Use structured prompts to get usable outputs for content, email, and basic research.
- Create a "Founder Copilot" base prompt describing their business, audience, and voice.
- Save 3-5 prompts into a simple prompt library they can reuse.

Part 3 - Integrated Tools: Plugging AI into Your Stack
Date: February 24, 2026 | Time: 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

By the end of this session, participants will:
-Map their current tech stack and identify where AI features already exist.
-Design one simple end-to-end workflow that connects at least two tools.
-Define clear success metrics and a lightweight monitoring plan.

Part 4 - Advanced Chat: Systems, Templates, and "Business Brain"
Date: March 10, 2026 | Time: 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

By the end of this session, participants will:
- Chain multiple prompts into repeatable workflows (research → draft → repurpose → QA).
- Create a central "Business Brain" document AI can use as reference.
- Design one team-ready AI workflow with clear instructions.

Part 5 - Agents & Agentic Workflows: Designing Self-Running Systems
Date: March 24, 2026 | Time: 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

By the end of this session, participants will:
-Understand what agentic AI is, in practical business terms.
-Identify 1-2 realistic agentic use cases for their business.
-Design a 30-90 day experiment for a small, contained agentic workflow

Speaker Bio:

Jason (JT) has been leading businesses through an era of exponential digital change across North America for over 25 years. He is a senior leader and mentor with an extensive technology background. From his roles with Long View, Apple, Robots & Pencils and Chata.ai, Jason has accumulated a tremendous amount of technical experience, including managing enterprise data centers, leading global software development teams, and directing cutting-edge AI/ML scientists.

Jason leverages his diverse career experience to enhance organizational productivity and efficiency by effectively leveraging technology. His past leadership roles have included everything from Director to Chief Operating Officer.

Jason is also an instructor at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) - School for Advanced Digital Technology and Mount Royal University, working with: entrepreneurs, executives and senior managers of start-up and high-growth enterprises. Jason currently sits as a technology expert on several post-secondary advisory boards in Canada and the United States.
