Speaker Bio:

Trina Lo is a well-rounded marketer with traditional roots grounding her marketing concepts based on one key idea — we all matter and we’re not just a number. With over 25 years of professional communication experience in advertising, magazine publishing, graphic design, social media and coaching she can easily work with and relate to business owners of all sizes types to let their inner selves shine.

Her marketing firm, FreshInk Communications, joined a barter exchange offering marketing and design services over 20 years ago. Her love of bartering became evident when it was included in 9 out of 10 marketing plans provided to her clients.

While searching for barter companies outside of Calgary in 2021, she discovered BarterPay, a national exchange. She joined it as well and quickly learned the differences in exchanges. When BarterPay sent out a notice looking for franchise owners, she was immediately interested in the opportunity and has been growing her Alberta franchise since April 2024 while maintaining FreshInk’s clients and launch a magazine!
