Courtney Boyes

Director of Community Engagement and Partnerships

Portrait of Courtney Boyes, director of client services

Courtney knows firsthand what it feels like to need a community in your corner. After running a business with both a service and retail side through a recession, she learned that the right support, the kind that makes you feel truly seen and gives you access to what you actually need in business, can be transformative.

Now, as AWE's Director of Community Engagement and Partnerships, she brings two decades of leadership experience and a deep passion for building the communities, partnerships, and opportunities that help women entrepreneurs thrive. With a background in operations, HR, and change management, Courtney works to ensure that every woman who connects with AWE finds not just resources, but confidence, belonging, and the right people beside her.

She is driven by the belief that relationships built on mutual benefit create real, lasting impact, and that access to the right tools and community can be the difference between surviving and truly flourishing in business.

Originally from the Okanagan-Shuswap region of BC, Courtney has planted deep roots in St. Albert, Alberta, where she is raising her family and investing in the province's people, economy, and business community with genuine pride.

When she's not building those connections, you'll find her hiking, camping, or recharging in the Alberta outdoors with her family.
