Developing your business’s brand is just as important as your product or service offering. It represents your vision, mission and personality, and is what sets you apart from your competitors. Workshop #1: Establishing Your Brand (June 19th)

Branding is often one of the most overlooked areas for entrepreneurs, new and experienced alike. And yet, your product or company’s brand is what your current clients and potential new customers experience before anything else! In this AWE Branding workshop, you will explore:

  • What are the markers of a strong brand
  • Tricks that the biggest global brands use to build recognition
  • How to create your own strong and relevant brand

You’ve established your brand – who you are, what you stand for and what your personality is – so now what? How do you communicate it to your target audience? In this workshop, you will learn:

  • What are the various communication mediums and when to use which one (e-newsletter, infographic, social media, blog, press release, etc.)
  • What is SEO and why it is important for your content strategy 
  • Why a brand one-pager is your most important communications asset
  • How to stay authentic to your brand’s voice and personality

Workshop #3: Making Social Media Work for Your Brand (August 23rd)

Social Media, what is it? How do you use it for business? Can you really make money from a Facebook page? This workshop will show you how to build your brand socially across a variety of platforms. In this workshop, you will:

  • Learn the basics of social media for business including how to create profiles on four platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Learn how to develop consist brand and messaging across platforms
  • Distinguish how to effectively measure your social media efforts and drive traffic to your website
  • Develop customer engagement basics including the power of reviews, comments, and customer concerns
